a4 marker art, part of a short series of sketches to be worked up into larger canvas paintings, as a rule I never pre-plan my paintings but, because of the success of several pieces I exhibited in a similar vain I decided to make some note sketches.
I like the sketches so much I feel they are strong enough to stand as individual pieces in their own right.
You can see at the bottom of the image some of the pigments I mixed up to apply directly to canvas now that I have begun working on the full size pieces, these sketches work really well as postcard size prints up over from a6-a3.
