Established in 1983 this is another independent local place to visit in Whitley Bay, the proprietor Alan Gough writes, 32 years ago Elderberry opened it’s doors on Station road, Whitley Bay, since then they have supported thousands of customers produce wines and beers to professional standards.
For the last 2 years Alan has been establishing a small vineyard in the lot Valley in France to provide grape juice and whole grapes to sell here in Elderberry.
The work is nearing completion and Alan has returned to the shop to pass on his extensive knowledge to wine and beer makers.
Elderberry has won many awards over the years and is yet another hidden gem in Whitley Bay.
