Whitley Bay Flyer project, having been aware of the plight of our bees for a long time, witnessing their steady decline due to intensive honey production and the introduction of insane pesticides used in farming and in the industry itself it is impossible to remain passive.
Does anyone listen, does anyone do anything? the bees form like many other insects the nuts and bolts of the earth and without them we are in trouble I don’t need to bang on about corporate earth and the almighty buck made at the expense of every living thing on our planet, humans could learn a great deal from bee communities.
Anyway within our community there are several apiaries around the town, there are many apiarists! who feel passionately about their bees, this small flyer was handed out freely as a reminder to the visiting public to remember the mighty yet humble bee, to think about our little friends who labour day and night to give us their honey!
